I'd originally lumped "Mediterranean" (and Italian) in with middle eastern, but there's too much Italian-type stuff, and it's different enough that it needs its own page.
Karyn's Cooked
Vegan Lasagna. Has fake ricotta cheest and, if I remember correctly, fake sausage, very tasy!
Karyn's Cooked Vegan pizza with fake (melty!) cheese and mock italian sausage. Probably the best vegan pizza in Chicago, though no Pizza Luce.
Chicago Diner Vegan lasagna with side of garlic bread. Very good stuff!
Lula Cafe Penne pasta. Another standard offering, I believe this one was a bit spicy.
Soyboy Herb Ravioli With organic marinara sauce, vegan parmesean and an olive tapenade on top.
Heather Galaxy Kitchen Vegan lasagna with roasted rosemary potatoes and garlic bread.
Pizza Luce (Minneapolis) Vegan pizza w/ mock duck, spinach, artichokes, fake cheese, etc. Awesome.
Piccolo Pizza (Wauwatosa) Margherita pizza sans-cheese with peppers, basil, mushrooms and artichokes.
Sonny's Pizza (Chicago) Cheeseless pizza with mushrooms and olives. Good for a neighborhood place.
Handlebar Pumpkin pasta wheels with some kind of pesto. Good but a little rich.
Pizza Metro (Chicago) Roasted veggie pizza, no cheese. Also totally delicious, but the potato is my favorite. Note: Crust is probably not vegan.
Chicago Diner Vegan Pizza Tasty sauce but too many vegetables and undercooked overall.
Reza's Bruschetta Interesting variation with garlic spread and black and green olives. Tasty.
Pick-Me-Up Cafe Mediterranean pizza of some sort, sans-cheese, with fries and a pickle.
La Escarola
Pasta Primavera with vegetables and marinara. Pretty standard fare.
