I have a real sweet tooth, so this should be fun. Not too many to begin with here, and only what's readily available from a few select restaurants, but it's a start. In Chicago, you really can't beat Desserts by Rebecca, a nice young lady who supplies the Pick-Me-Up (and others) with their vegan goodies. Eventually I may also include some convenience foods that are coincidentally-vegan...

Chicago Diner Chocolate Mousse Cake. Rich, decadent, slightly sour taste to middle frosting (cherry?)	Chicago Diner Peanut Butter Chocolate Pie. Very yummy, with delicious graham cracker crust.	Chicago Diner German Chocolate Cake. Contains coconut, which I like, but some people don't.


Earwax Cafe (Chicago, IL) Vegan coconut bar thing with chocolate chips aplenty. These are syndicated at a few different places, but I think the Chicago Diner makes 'em.	Pick-Me-Up Cafe (Chicago) A nice Vegan Chocolate Chip Cookie by Desserts by Rebecca. Also in Peanut Butter.	Blind Faith (Evanstaon, IL) Two scrumptious and sinfully-rich cakes. Vegan Peanut Butter Cake and Vegan Chocolate Cake.


Alice and Friends (Chicago) This weird thing is more like a dessert than appetizer. It's sweet bean paste inside of little roll-ups (with broccoli and hot sauce and carrots?). Believe it or not, it's good.	Alice and Friends (Chicago) Steamed buns with red bean paste filling. Sounds gross to the uninitiated, but it's actually a nice taste. I think steamed buns in general are kind of gooey and worthless though.	Irazu (Chicago, IL) This shake concoction is too good to put words too...made with oatmeal and water, and similar to horchata, it must be tasted to be believed.


Pick Me Up Cafe (Chicago) Excellent vegan carrot cake by Desserts by Rebecca.	Pick Me Up Cafe (Chicago) Vegan chocolate cake by Desserts by Rebecca. This was on my birthday and Michelle decorated it nicely.	Pick-Me-Up Cafe (Chicago) One of my all-time favorite snacks, for taste and economy, the Vegan Rice Krispie Treat.


Vegan Holiday Cookies Baked by my roomie Heather, she made over 15lbs worth.	Alice and Friends (Chicago) Famous Ginseng Shake, a bit costly but very tasty.
