Hard Times Cafe #1

Painted in September of 1998 in Minneapolis. The Hard Times Cafe is one of my all-time favorite places...they're independent, co-operative, serve great vegan food, open (usually) 24 hours a day, and the place is always full of interesting people (like Sunshine).

Figures were omitted from this scene, it's really not that desolate. I painted and drew here quite often, since I loved spending time here late at night.
