Hong Kong — "The Fragrant Harbour"

I took a 4-day trip to Hong Kong while living in Japan. Upon returning—with a mind and camera full of new scenes, I tried to express the impression that I got from this amazing city. This poster was also printed onto an illuminated box which, like Hong Kong, engaged all of the senses. (Images of that box coming soon, I hope...)

HK had just reverted from British to Chinese rule and large chunks of the city map were blank in contrast to the crowded vicinity, bearing only the words "Reclamation in Progress."
