| Exterior signage, Busy Bea Flea Mall, Paw Paw. |
The Record Guy. He was always ornery, paranoid, and would steer me away from the "colored records" towards "country-n-western." He's not there anymore, I suspect he died. |
Here's a closeup of his face, probably the last time I saw him. He screamed at Isaac one time, and I think Isaac carries that with him to this day. |

| Accordian man plays a beautiful tune for a fairly sparse audience. Good stuff. Haven't seen him lately. |

There's also a lousy greasy spoon restaurant attached to the flea market, which lends much in the way of "signature smell." It's hard to describe the mix of cigarettes, old frying oil, decades of dust and body odor that marks the place... |
Exterior shot at sunset. They were probably closed when we went there, hence no interior shots. |

| I think this guy used to work the graveyard shift as "night porter" when I worked at Big Boy. Now he sells records, tapes and more at the end of one of the main halls. |
Card/comic type vendor, near the donut/french fry/stale oil vendor in a desolate corner. |

Sorry for the poor quality of some of these shots, I was trying very hard not to look obvious as these people wouldn't take kindly to having their photos taken. |
I was probably walking along carrying the camera behind my back, obviously no flash and some motion (nice 45 degree angle composition too). |

Lots of patriotism at Busy Bea. Now there's a full display of local soldiers. Usually some extremist Christian literature, "End Times" type stuff. Sometimes even Michigan Militia recruitment pamphlets! |
Here's the area with some literature |

| Aerial view of the place. Apparently they have a campground and golf driving range in the back. In the summer the buildings in the back are open, but not in the winter. |
Painted frying pans and The Intimidator, together at last. |
Yes friends, let there be no doubt in your mind. I've seen "Pussy" incense for sale many times at flea markets. Bet you wonder what it smells like... find your own and see for yourself! |
