Christ, the time flies these days. Sorry to leave y'all hanging for almost a week, how shameful. Not much to report, except how goddamn busy I've been. Lots of long hours and plenty of bad meals. The only real excitement this week was Monday, when Kayla from PETA was in town and we did a St. Patrick's Day-Themed GO VEGAN demonstration downtown at Daley Plaza in our underwear. Sorry, no photos! The Irishman cops didn't like us, and hauled Kayla off to the slammer for Indecent Exposure or something. The cops here are really something else, you should hear how some of them talk˜lots of machismo and bitterness. They're not ALL bad or anything, just most of the one's I've been exposed to EXCEPT Scott, from the Vegan Meetup. He's a vegan cop and an all-around champion; they need more like him on the Force. I visited Lottie on Sunday.
Then there's "our" war. For the record, I am completely against it and think that the president un-elect is a total fucking moron who will bring more death to Iraq and wrath to the US than anyone imagines. Way to go GW, rub salt in mideast wounds; meanwhile tell people that taking away our "Homeland" liberties will somehow keep us safe from the evil, freedom-hating Mosslum world. This joke of an administration makes me want to run to Canada or just about anywhere else, and hide my head in shame. I love America but hate our current "leaders" and media. Thankfully, we should have the freedom to be critical.
