Run for the Border

I spent my weekend at a scooter rally in rural Wisconsin, camping in a field next to a bar that was a converted farmhouse. There was all the requisite drunkenness, nudity, thrills, spills, and chills, as well as some beautiful riding and even some good conversation. My scooter ran like a top (even through the corn) and nobody got seriously hurt, so it was a fun weekend all around. I wore the same pants all weekend, stayed up bullshitting until 5am, had no chance to bathe, and got stung in the face by a bee (or wasp?) on the ride home, but those are but a few of the many joys of the "biker lifestyle."

I'm all moved in to my new place, many thanks to my helpers. The cats love the space and I am excited about it too. I walked around the neighborhood a bit today and it has a lot to offer. I can actually see the Sears tower from my kitchen window, (nothing else of downtown though, seeing how I'm about 7 miles away from it) and am even closer to the lake, the train, and milady. I'm busy-as-fuck-all with the Scooterworks catalog project in full-swing, but things are going well for me these days and I'm happy to be where I am.
