Hotter'n Hell

Had another fun skateboarding session with Naz and Allan yesterday. There was some talk of Naz editing some of the footage together (with music and titles even), but that is very time-consuming and thankless work, so we'll see...we may not even have enough footage to work with at this point. I'll link to one mediocre trick here, just for fun.

In other news, I just spent a couple of hours adding photos to the Vegan section of my site...more Soul Veg and Chicago Diner favorites, as well as a rudimentary Desserts page. This section will continue to grow until it consumes us all...stay tuned for Middle Eastern, Indian, and Breakfasts sections soon.

The Death Dealer will be getting a new "power plant" (150cc engine) installed tomorrow. We're very excited about this upgrade, in terms of added speed (60mph range), economy, reliability, and overall evil powers. This will also give me the chance to rebuild my current engine, which will hopefully shed some light on how it all goes together and works (in case you didn't know, I'm mechanically-retarded). This old engine will probably eventually find its way into an old, ratty 1960's Vespa frame and become my second scooter (as a backup, and for friends to ride when they visit, etc).

Oh the film is coming along. "Running with the pack" is the name. I just need to get the file size down. Currently it's at 104MB!

I look forward to making contributions to the general evilness of your bike. Some day when I have a job and can be certain my rent will be payed at the end of the month, I'll pay you a visit.

Sarah, refresh my memory: when are you moving to Chicago to be my partner in crime? We can go spray stencils on things, or you can just talk to me all day long with your sweet Texan voice...
